I’m busting to tell you about a HUGE milestone in my life that is happening next month . . .
I am about to have my first $30,000 month! Say what?
I debated on whether I should share this with you. I know money is a touchy subject and I didn’t want to come off as braggy. I think most of women are afraid of that on many levels.
But, at the same time, I’m really proud of myself—of where I started with bodyheart (from the ground up baby) and how it’s finally catching up to my vision.
Today, I invite you to give yourself permission to brag. Take ownership of what you have accomplished and share it externally. Shout it from the rooftops! Let the world know you:
* got a raise!
* finished that massive project!
* helped your friend move!
* look freakin’ awesome in your outfit!
* went to Zumba this morning and rocked it!
* made the most delicious dinner for your family!
* helped your daughter with her homework!
* read a chapter of a book you’ve been wanting to read!
* started working with a coach!
I’m not gonna lie, at first it can feel a little uncomfortable. Your prideful muscle may need a little flexing. And, that is what you’re doing, exercising that muscle so it feels more comfortable to feel good about all you have accomplished and completed.
Be sure to include the things you think are small and don’t deserve to be counted, because those count and deserve celebration.
You don’t have to wait for the big milestones in order to feel proud. You can feel proud of yourself today. Starting right now.
I believe that acknowledging those wins will bring in more opportunities for more wins. So, get to it!
I’m a speaker. Soon-to-be author. Coach. Inspirer-er. (Yes, I also happen to like to making up words!) I’m a woman with a big heart who has figured out how to love and care for my perfectly, imperfect body (cellulite and all). And I get to help other people find love for their body almost every day.
Boy, does that feel AWE-some.
Share some of your wins in the comments below! What are you proud of today?
I can’t wait to celebrate amazing you.
Love,
Amber
WOO HOO for you Amber. I am thrilled for you. You’ve got talent, a beautiful message and work so hard. You deserve it all. My brag: I completed grad school this month. This is a huge milestone as I too have been growing my business from the ground up. For the past 7 years, I’ve been balancing school and growing my business (2.5 for holistic nutrition, 4.5 for grad school) to create my health coaching model Truce with Food. I’ve had to split my energy both places and it’s certainly been more nuts than calm. However, the results for my clients and skills I’ve gained are invaluable. And I’m so excited to focus on spreading my message like you have. Thanks for the inspiration. XO
@Ali – Holy Moly, do I celebrate YOU! Congratulations on completing grad school. Girl, that is HUGE! And, to have been balancing both biz and school and life and all, it’s not easy. And, yet, look at what you have created throughout. It’s really incredible. Now, you’ll have more time to spend sharing your delicious message and helping other heal their relationship with food. Rock on Super Star! Super excited to explore a bodyheart event with you soon too! xo
YAY!!!!! You know I have been rooting for you from day 1! So proud of you! My brag is that I have faced fears about approaching a family member to offer support in shifting away from blame and toward empowerment. She is still listening (hasn’t unfriended me yet on FB!) and I will be sharing with her my story as a way of encouraging her to take a leap of faith. I am doing my best not to be attached to the outcome and to leave it in God’s hands.
@Nancy – Yes, Nancy, you have absolutely been there from day one. You’ve seen my personal transformation with my body and then my shift into sharing it with others to support them. Thank you for sharing your brag. Supporting a friend is a big brag! Often we can’t see clearly when we are in the middle of a situation and a friends’ guidance and insight can help us tremendously. Light to the conversation with your friend and your ease in being unattached. So lovely to connect with you here Nancy. xo
Congratulations, Amber! Way to go!
My bit of bragging is that I’ve DOUBLED the amount of money I’ve made from my tarot readings from last month! Toot toot! 🙂
@Hilary – Thank you so very very much. ROCK ON girl! I wanna shout it out for you! Way to DOUBLE your tarot card reading income. That is amazing. Thank you for sharing it with all of us so that we can celebrate with you too.
Congrats Amber!! You SO deserve the financial gains. I have been intentionally juicing more and even took my first spin class the other evening. Baby steps, but all moving forward!!
Proud of you and all that you do to encourage folks to be their best!!
@Kim – Thank you. I am proud of you! Baby Steps are steps. And, I don’t think taking a spin class is a baby step, especially if you’ve never done it! That is a big one. Keep doing exactly what you are doing. I guarantee your body feels better for it. Sending you lots of love.
I am so proud of you Amber!
As a fellow Bschooler, I too am gaining strength to see a bigger picture.
I was feeling in a little funk. I’m on the road Travelling, my relationship just broke up and I’ve got the flu… So when I asking myself what I’m proud of, I thought it would be very little.
But even in just those three things
– I’m so proud of packing up my things and hitting the road for a whole. The people you meet, the things you do are random and soul inspiring.
-I’m proud to have had the courage to say to my boyfriend ” I love you in my head, but my heart is for me right now” and now have the space to live my expansive life.
– I’m proud of being sick- having rest time after a beautiful 3 weeks where I can reflect and be at peace. And it’s not a flu without reason, this is what you get for sleeping on the beach on full moon or dancing for 72hrs or an Easter gift of organic dark chocolate goji berries for dinner ( because I could!)
So thank you for asking lovely.
It’s these questions that help us be strong,
Turn around our minds and make beauty.

@Bryanna – Thank you so much for sharing. I love how you shifted your perspective and are able to see the ‘good in the bad’. Life is all about seeking the learning. What’s the opportunity in this challenge? Girl, you are doing exactly that. And, that is a huge win! Congratulations on taking such great care of you. xo
Finished paying off my credit card (second time I’ve been in debt enough to take time to pay it off)! 😀
Let go of an unhealthy relationship.
Ate greens with every meal!
Did 5 hours of housework – got a lot done and a great workout in!
@Shannon – Right on Sista! Congratulations on paying off your debit. That is HUGE! So is letting go of an unhealthy relationship, and eating your greens and doing the housework. Way to brag on. Fully supporting you in shining your light more fully.

@Terri – Thank you so so much. Your words mean a lot to me. Here’s to our continued growth, success and friendship. xo
You continue to blow me away, Amber! Congratulations. Couldn’t be happier for you. xxx
@Anne-Sophie – Thank you very much. I love having you within this community. You are such a Rock STAR!
I am growing vegetables from SEEDS!! And today all 5 cucumber plants are popping their litle heads out of the soil! It’s like magic! Now I’m thinking, if I can work with the universe to turn dirt into vegetables, I can do anything!!
@Heidi – That’s amazing! I love that you are growing your own veggies and reaping the rewards of your efforts. Thank you for sharing with us.
