exhale: A Four-Week Journey Through Breath

open to anyone

Would you like to explore the transformative power of breath? Join me for Exhale: A Four-Week Journey Through Breath, a unique program that blends the best of a book club, coaching, and experiential exercises. This program is designed to help you unlock the profound benefits of breathwork and see real changes in your life.

Why breathwork matters

Calm the Nervous System

Regulated breathing signals to the brain that we are safe, helping us enter a relaxed state and experience feelings of peace, calmness, and mental clarity.

Improve Sleep

Calm your nervous system to enjoy deeper, more restful sleep.

Relieve Brain Fog

By calming the nervous system and increasing oxygen flow to the brain, breathwork helps clear the mind and enhance mental clarity.

Increase Energy

Boost your vitality and daily energy levels with mindful breathing techniques.

Increase Immunity

Shifting from a stress state to a relaxed state prioritizes immune function. When stressed, the body diverts energy away from the immune system to focus on immediate threats.

Support Weight Loss

Discover how breathwork can aid in weight management by optimizing metabolic function.

Enhance Respiratory Health

Reduce asthma symptoms and improve overall lung function.

Promote Longevity

Embrace practices that support long-term health and well-being.

But the impact goes far beyond these tangible benefits. Breathwork is also an invitation to a deeper connection with your body. The body knows how to heal itself, and by tapping into its innate wisdom, you can experience a profound sense of peace and relief—without needing to understand it with your mind.

Healing doesn’t have to be a mental process. Through breathwork, you can simply allow it to unfold naturally by connecting with your body, heart, and One Mind. This program is your opportunity to explore this connection, unlocking both physical and emotional transformation.

Program Overview

In this program, we'll come together over Zoom for four virtual classes, diving deep into Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art, by James Nestor. Each session will feature:

  • Share insights, takeaways, and questions about breath and its impact.

  • Receive coaching and education on what you’re learning and discovering.

  • Experience guided exercises designed to enhance your health and well-being. Practice sessions will include breath styles ranging from:

    • Calming Breath: Slow, deep, and down-regulating. This type of breath soothes the nervous system, promoting relaxation and a sense of peace. It's often used to help the body unwind, lower stress levels, and encourage a state of restfulness.

    • Balancing Breath: Steady and harmonizing. This breath is neither too slow nor too fast, creating a sense of equilibrium in the body and mind. It helps to bring both energy and calmness into alignment, promoting a feeling of centeredness and stability.

    • Exciting Breath: Fast, invigorating, and up-regulating. This breath energizes the body and mind, increasing alertness and activating the nervous system. It’s typically used to boost energy, focus, and readiness for action.

Participants are encouraged to honor their specific body’s needs and will be given modifications for each practice.

Note: Breathwork can be a powerful tool for transformation, but it may not be suitable for everyone. Individuals with certain health conditions, including severe respiratory or cardiovascular issues, a history of schizophrenia, high blood pressure, glaucoma or those who are pregnant, should approach breathwork with caution and seek medical advice before participating. It’s important to ensure that breathwork practices are safe and appropriate for your specific circumstances.

I’m ready to experience the transformative power of breath!
