Are you nurturing your numbers?
The definition of nurture is: to care for and encourage the growth or development of.
To nurture your body you might go to bed early, get a massage, take a stretch class.
To nurture your child you might read them a bedtime story, make sure they have lunch for school, or help them with their homework.
To nurture your romantic relationship you might create a weekly date night, read a book together, or take a trip just the two of you.
This idea is easy to understand when it comes to your body, children and partnership, but what about when it comes to money?
Just that word alone—money—can cause people to breathe shallow, sweat or even cry. Money is that powerful. Actually, that’s not accurate. Money isn’t that powerful. It’s what we put onto money that gives it the power it has.
Money is a place where we project our worthiness (or perceived lack thereof). It’s a place where we compare and despair, where we look outside to determine where we fit in—are we a success or failure? (As if the world gets to dictate that!)
We confuse our self-worth with our net-worth. We think more is better. We buy into the idea that the money we haven’t isn’t enough and we won’t be enough until we have more. And, heaven forbid you have debt. That is a guilt and shame spiral like no other. (I know from firsthand experience.)
The conversation about money is an important one—especially for coaches. If you want to have a thriving practice you must look at and work on your relationship with money. In fact, this relationship is so key that we have a segment devoted to it every class weekend of The CFJ Coaching Success School.
My work and bank account transformed when I finally got the courage to get honest with myself about my money story and situation. For too long I let shame and avoidance run me. It was only when I started Nurturing My Numbers that my relationship with money grew.
In Nurturing Your Numbers: A Money Masterclass you’ll learn how:
to cultivate a more loving relationship with money—no matter how much or how little you have right now.
you communicate with money, and more importantly, how it communicates with you.
to respect money and develop greater trust.
to unlink your self-worth from your net-worth—money is not oxygen!
to relate to debt differently, if you have it.
to increase your capacity to earn more.
and more!
This isn’t just about money either. Nurturing Your Numbers includes all your numbers—including tracking your Connections, Invitations, Conversations, Proposals and Billings.
This class will give you everything I did—including all the handouts and tracking sheets I used (and still use sometimes today).
To receive access to this class you must enroll in Summer Camp for Coaches by end of day Sunday June 13, 2021!
There are about 18 spots remaining.
Remember, numbers never lie, and learning how to use them for the information they provide is part of becoming a strong professional.
I’m looking forward to sharing more in this special virtual bonus class.
With Fierce Loving,
Amber
