Finding “Home” In This Profession with Stacy Nadeau
Before I introduce you to a highly sought after coach and speaker, and the next guest on Behind-the-Scenes for Coaches…
The next guest on Behind-the-Scenes for Coaches is one of my favorite people. Her warmth, generosity, and enthusiasm are only outdone by her authenticity and ability to champion others.
Stacy Nadeau has been one of my dear clients for a few years. Her story is still one of my favorites to share. The miracles—and I mean miracles—that unfolded in her life in our first coaching container are astounding. We revisit those in our conversation and so much more!
You'll hear how Stacy went from being a part of the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty to choosing a "safe" corporate job to becoming a highly sought after speaker and coach.
She shares about her first disaster client that caused her to step away from coaching for two years, and what brought her back to ultimately find "home" in this profession.
Stacy gives some fantastic guidance on how to generate more speaking opportunities. This can be easier than you may think! Pay attention if this is a direction you want to go in your work.
Honestly, if you're feeling alone, like you're the only person struggling behind the scenes, this is the interview to listen to ASAP. Stacy is highly gifted at using her story in service to freeing others. She's one of the most real people I know. She's not afraid to share her struggles since those became the stepping stones for her success.
You know what to do. Carve out some time to get quiet, grab your journal and take a listen. Remember—a key to transformation is HOW you listen and HOW SOON you take action upon receiving insight.
My encouragement is to listen from a place of: What can I learn from this? What can I apply to my work today?
Then, go do that.
If you're inspired to share that with me, I would love it!
To your success,
Amber
