Success Requires New Thinking

As coaches, we spend a lot of time working in our business—serving our clients and prospective clients, responding to emails, filling programs, balancing the bank account and more.
We spend far less time working on our business—where we take dedicated time to see and think from a higher perspective.
My mentor, Robert Holden, says:
“We are doing business at the speed of thought, so to speak, but we have no time to think! If we're not thinking about what we do, how can we ever hope to do it better? Leaders are paid not just to be busy, but to think. Thinking is a form of work. The next level of success requires you to think some thoughts you haven't thought before.”
We know this to be true, and yet often prioritize what appears urgent over the important.
And, if we do manage to block off time to think, we don't often consider: Who is the one doing the thinking?
Is it the part that:
believes there's a problem that needs to be solved and is trying to strategize and figure out a solution?
thinks there's something wrong with you?
wants to prove to your mom/dad, spouse, colleague, or yourself that you're good enough?
feels entitled to more—or thinks you've been working 'so hard' when you've only sent out 10 invitations total?
believes you're behind and need to catch up in some way?
is fighting for perfection?
Look, our ego is sneaky. It's easy for these aspects to masquerade as Knowing. When we think by ourselves, it can be challenging to discern who's doing the thinking.
This is why thinking with another or in a community you trust is highly beneficial.
Having someone to help connect you with your Wholeness and also reflect things you may not be seeing takes the inquiry to the next level and deeply impacts the results.
When we get in touch with the part of us that is already worthy, lovable, successful and fulfilled, it's so much easier to think thoughts we haven't thought before. Because our mind isn't doing the thinking. The Divine Mind/Knower is. That alone invites miracles.
