It’s been one of the most magical weeks (and it’s only Wednesday)!
I attended a workshop over the weekend that has been revelatory in my growth and learning. I am still marinating in it and can’t wait to share more about my experience with you. Soon.
Then, yesterday, I had the absolute privilege of meeting and supporting a woman who is creating a new paradigm in how the world relates to goals. She is deeply soulful and I can’t get enough of her…Danielle LaPorte. (See below.)
Her latest creation, The Desire Map – is changing lives daily, including my own. I’ll be sharing about that with you a little later too.
In the meantime, I’ve been dying to tell you about my newest find in skincare. I’ve used it for the last two months and couldn’t be happier.
Before I spill the beans, it’s important for you to know what I look for in a skincare product.
1 – It must be cruelty-free.
This is because I became aware of animal testing – happening on dogs – when I adopted the sweetest Beagle who was used in laboratory research. You can read more about him and his first year of freedom here.
2 – It must be organic and chemical-free.
Lord knows our skin comes into contact with enough chemicals each day. I’m a fan of allowing nature to do her thing. After all, she’s incredibly good at it.
3 – It must work (aka clean & protect my skin and not give me zits)
This one is tricky cause you don’t know if it will work until you try it out. Which is why I waited two months to share with you. I’ve tried and tested it and feel solid in my recommendation.
My New Favorite Skincare Product is by Annmarie Gianni.
I originally heard of her products through Kris Carr and decided to give them a try. I started with her travel kit – to test it out…and I absolutely loved the results.
My skin felt softer. I had less break-outs. There was a healthy glow with less redness. I felt like I won the lottery. And, then, I got to appreciate a company fully standing behind their message and demonstrating tremendous care of their customers.
It was and is a win all the way around for me; thus the reason I am bringing it to you.
Feel free to browse Annmarie’s products here.
I use the Aloe-Herb Facial Cleanser, Neroli Toning Mist, Herbal Facial Oil for Normal Skin, the Purifying Mask and the Ayurvedic Facial Scrub.
If you already use her products, tell me your experience in the comments. And, if you decide to give ’em a try, let me know that too below.
Lots of light to your own precious, hard-working skin.
With loving,
Amber
Trying the skin care products you recommended…for two reasons: looking for something…and their treatment towards animals…hugs…
@Vicki – Awesome. I hope you enjoy them. Let me know what you think – would ya? xo-A
Thanks so much for the recommendation Amber! Those are my requirements as well, and it can be hard to find products that meet the checklist.
I’m so jealous you got to meet Danielle LaPorte!
@Tammy – Of course. You are so welcome. Let me know if you decide to try it. And, yes, meeting Danielle LaPorte was a pretty cool moment. xo-A
This looks like a great skin care line because of the natural ingredients that are in it. I see that one product contains Neroli Oil and I am a huge fan of using natural remedies for acne treatment including essential oils.
I will have to give these a try as I am very picky about what I put on my skin because certain products induce a mild rosacea flare-up on my cheeks but since these ingredients are natural they will probably be good for my skin.
@Melody – Fantastic. I love your commitment to your skin and supporting it through natural ingredients. If you try them, let me know what you think. Love, Amber
I’ve been wanting to try this line! I’ll have to get the travel size like you did. My guidelines for products are the same as yours. I’m using Acure right now and like it but definitely want to try this out now1
@Amanda – Let me know what you think once you try it. xoA
Chemical free skincare products are the best! They help keep your skin moisturized and healthy. Thanks for sharing.
@Brittney – Of course!
