How to Choose Wonder Over Worry

When I was growing up, my family affectionately referred to my grandmother as a Worry-Wart. Soon my mom referred to herself this way, and I quickly followed suit.

Worry plagued my life for years. Sometimes over specific things: “Would I be able to pay my bills this month?” “Would I end up alone forever?” Sometimes over little things: “Should I eat this?” “Should I wear that?” “Did I say the wrong thing and sound like an idiot?”

Each day my fear-based thoughts ruled my life, leaving me feeling anxious, overwhelmed and exhausted. I wish I would’ve had the resource I’m sharing with you now to support me then.

I’m happy to say my thinking has shifted in recent years thanks to the personal growth work I’ve done. I don’t spend as much time in worry. I no longer believe the world is a scary place. In fact, I think the Universe is doing it’s best to support us in our evolution.

And, there’s always more available to learn. Which is why I love today’s guest.

Amber Rae has been called “The Brené Brown of Wonder” by Mind Body Green. She is an author, artist, and speaker whose work invites you to live your truth, befriend your emotions, and express your gifts. Her book, Choose Wonder Over Worry, invites you to relate to worry differently.

This is one interview you don’t want to miss—for many reasons! You’ll learn:
